The Pinecones is a gated community nestled(located) on top of a hill in Sto. Tomas, Baguio City, a stroll away from the Green Valley Clubhouse. It is accessible from the Marcos Highway (and) is 1.6 kilometers (from the highway)away. It has a panoramic view of (the) pine-covered mountains, the city, Camp John Hay and the Loakan Airport. The site is 1,000 ft higher than the City of Baguio and the air is clean and free from vehicle pollution. The site is enveloped (by) with  fog everyday.Water is supplied from the reservoir from Mt. Sto. Tomas and is stored in the Pinecones underground cistern tank. The site has been certified by the Bureau of Mines to be free from landslide.

The Pinecones is a themed handcrafted mountain log homes development on a 1.2 hectare land with only 43 lots available for sale. The lots range from 153 square meters to 367 square meters and are match with a two or three-bedroom model homes designed for the spectacular view of the site and the terrain. At least two or more bedrooms can be added to the original model plans for slopping down lots. The development will have a park with matured pine tress for picnicking with a gazebo and playground. Young pine trees are now being grown in the nursery and to be planted once development is nearing completion. Completion date is set for September 2010. However homes can be built parallel to the development period.

MOUNTAIN LOG HOMES

The Model Home plans are a two-bedroom with a floor area of 96 square meters and expandable to another two or more bedrooms for slope down sites. The three-bedroom plan is 145 square meters floor area, expandable to two or more bedrooms. The handcrafted homes are made of wood, steel and concrete construction. Exterior walls are Hardiplank panels with accent of Baguio stones and pine logs. Interior walls and ceiling are finished with pinewood panels. Flooring is engineered wood and roofing is asphalt shingles. Windows are glass with pine look aluminum frames.

The developer Nobleman Properties is a sister company of Central Country Estate the developer of the world famous The Lakeshore in Mexico, Pampanga. The Architects, Planner, Contractor are the firm of Architect Nestor Mangio who is a partner of the development company, an Architect, Urban Planner and a triple “A” contractor.
